Love Music Hate Racism line up announced By Kelly Rowland and Eddie Izzard
Kelly Rowland, Mutya Buena, Chipmunk, and compere Eddie Izzard have all been announced today for the Love Music Hate Racism Festival 2009.
The one-day music festival with a message, is coming to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday 30th May. Some of the UK’s top live acts and DJs from every genre of music will come together to celebrate Britain’s diverse multicultural society by rocking and raving together with the fans of the music we all love.
The main stage line-up includes Mick Jones & The Rotten Hill Gang, Reverend and the Makers, Kano, The Beautiful South, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Jerry Dammers, Ironik, VV Brown, Helsinki, The Beat, Beverley Knight, Bashy, Roll Deep, Kieran Leonard, and The Sport.
The Dance Stage boasts acts including MistaJam, DJ Target, CJ Beatz, Nighttrate, Blame, Donaeo, Selah, Crazy Cousinz, Skepta, and Lisa Moorish.
Footballers such as England and Tottenham’s Ledley King and Stoke’s James Beattie have already voiced their support for the event, and boxing’s Amir Khan is also backing the festival.
On the day, the South Stand of the Britannia Stadium will host a massive outdoor stage featuring top live acts. Delilah’s Bar inside the stadium hosts a large dance arena across two floors with an exciting line-up of the country’s top DJs from every style of dance music.
