Well done Scotland a record number of emergency calls were made to the Scottish Ambulance Service over Hogmanay this year, Yay!

A total of 2,288 calls were made to the service's 999 centres across Scotland , an increase of 22% on the previous year. Ha ha fuck you last year, does this year rock or what?

Of course the majority of the calls were made after midnight and most of them were alcohol related incidents, is this stating the obvious or would my readers have already figured that one out?
